What is salvation?
The most important spiritual step a person can take is to turn from their sins and commit their life to Jesus Christ. It’s sometimes called being “saved” or “born again”, and it’s often mistaken as just a prayer that a person prays.
From Scripture, we see that being saved is much more than a prayer. Though it begins with a prayer of commitment, salvation involves the entire direction of your life. It’s a lifelong commitment to follow Jesus and put His priorities above your own. Salvation happens when a person turns away from their sins and steps out in faith trusting that Jesus is the Son of God and that He alone can pay the penalty for his or her sins.
Isn’t Jesus just another good prophet, like many others throughout history?
While some people hold this perspective, this is an option that Jesus clearly never intended for people to think. Consider His words:
“I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.” – John 14:6
How do you know that you’re really saved?
Maybe you learned about heaven and hell when you were growing up, but what does it mean for a person to be saved? How can a person know God will respond to them when they enter His presence?

What is the Trinity?
Put simply, the word “Trinity” is used to describe the nature of God existing as one God in three Persons – Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. All three are equally eternal. Even though God is made up of three Persons, there is only one God.
Is it possible for a Christian to lose their salvation?
Is there such a thing as an “unpardonable sin”? Are some sins too big to be forgiven?
